Manhattan resident sues pretty much everyone for $2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
This New Yorker's lawsuit is truly priceless.  Why? Because, he's asking for more money that has been printed so far.
According to reports, a a 62-year-old resident of Manhattan has sued among others the New York city, NYC Transit, a bakery, two local hospitals, a “Latina” dog owner and almost everyone else he could think of – for a grand total of two undecillion dollars.
That's-$2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Anton Purisima filed the hand-scrawled lawsuit last month and perhaps is seeking the highest damages ever sought in a lawsuit, given he's asking for more money than what’s on the planet presently.
New York Post article notes it isn't exactly clear how each of the persons listed in the lawsuit affected Purisima. However, among his grouses include the fact that a dog bit him on the middle finger and that he's routinely overcharged for coffee at LaGuardia Airport, among other things.
A legal blog, Lowering the Bar, notes that Purisima has alleged that the defendants' acts caused damages that "cannot be repaired by money" and are "therefore priceless."
Perhaps no amount of money can compensate him for his troubles, but two undecillion dollars would be a pretty good start.
